FORECOURT DISPLAYS
LED forecourt Displays come in small, medium and large sizes for the Fuel Sector to ensure visibility of fuel prices.
With an annual production of around 30,000 units in this sector alone, numerical displays manufactured and sold by AGLA Elettronica since 1994 can now be found in most petrol stations across Italy, serving all the major oil companies. Agla displays can also be found on various petrol forecourt displays outside Italy.
Agla Elettronica offers a wide range of displays, to meet the varying requirements of our customers and different types of application.
Features of the various types of Display are as follows:
size: AGLA supplies a wide range of Displays, starting with small, single-circuit displays 100mm high (normally used for price displays on stanchions), moving up through medium-sized displays at 150mm, 200mm, 250mm and 300mm high, and finally the large-size displays at 650mm and over, used for the large displays at street level.
type of LEDs: depending on requirements and technical performance, the types of LED supplied can be SMD, through-hole, monochrome or RGB.
Led colour: the standard colours requested in Italy are Amber and White; for elsewhere, Red, Blue and Green are also somethimes requested
number of LED lines per segment: depending on the height, Displays can be produced with between I and 5 lines of LEDs per segment. The bigger the display, the larger the size of the segment (and therefore the number of LED lines) required for good visibility.
configuration: most displays are made with seven segments and tilted. The AGLA range also includes straight and full matrix versions (for composing Arabic digits). Other proposed configurations, also relating to the size of the figures, are single-number displays (a digit in the form of a figure 8), dual (2x figure 8 digits), multiple (4x figure 8 digits).
application: AGLA generally supplies single, dual, etc. displays as independent units without the supporting structure; on request we can also supply them pre-mounted and wired on metal or plastic structures (250 and 300 height) in standard sizes, but for bulk orders we can also produce supporting structures in custom sizes and shapes.
The AGLA catalogue also includes variable message displays (VMS). In addition to fuel prices, some signs also display promotional, advertising or informational messages in the form of variable messages. These displays are of various sizes and include a variety of features depending on requirements. The appropriate software is produced for managing Text and Symbols
The various display kits come complete with Central Processing Unit (CPU), flat connection cables, supply clusters and keyboards so that you can change the prices, and remote control and/or switch versions come with interface protocols for Remote Management.
In terms of transmission, various communication systems are available: cabled, wireless and remote with interface, for various communication protocols.
The LEDs we use - supplied by leading manufacturers worldwide - are high quality, extremely efficient and selected according to the type of use.
All display kits, whether for price displays or variable messaging, come equipped with sensors that detect ambient light and adjust the level of LED lighting, in addition to temperature sensors for protection of the displays themselves.
Diagnostics software on various levels is optional.
The versatility of Agla Elettronica means we can also produce “customised displays” outside the pre-determined encoded messages, in a very short time and at very economical prices.
