INFORMATION BOARDS
LED Arrivals and Departures boards

Public transport information is now displayed entirely on LED displays or monitors.

LED displays provide an extremely valuable and highly efficient and visible service at a reasonable cost, unlike LCD monitors, which encounter problems and limitations in damp or dusty environments or in bright sunlight.

The main types of application for information screens are:

  • information boards at train and underground stations and airports;
  • remote quayside indicators for arrivals and departures;
  • information panels for local councils and public institutions in general, depending on use and location.

These are usually fixed signs mounted either on a wall or a metal construction (single post or two posts) and are not mobile.

The type of message can be either scrolling or fixed, where the message is completed over a number of screens that change within a calculated and pre-determined delay.

The display can also be alphanumeric or graphical if you want to add images to the text for more immediate visual impact.

The panels can be interfaced with new or existing installations.

As with all our information panels, Agla offers a standard design or can design a special structure, within technical and building restrictions and of course legal requirements, on request. The information on the message board is controlled with a cabled or wireless management system, which is also customised, using specific user-friendly and versatile software.

Public information systems can also be "ground mounted" on poles, complete with modules for BUS location, or display panels integrated into prefabricated structures, such as canopies over bus shelters. Another range of information boards are those used on the inside and outside of public transport, such as buses.

Clocks and thermometers also come under the category of LED information panels. The LEDs we use - supplied by leading manufacturers worldwide - are high quality, extremely efficient and selected according to the type of use.
